TANZANIA’s real estate industry is set for major facelift with plans by Watumishi Housing Investments (WHI), a property developer and licensed fund manager, now putting extra efforts on building more best-designed low cost homes that reflects the public needs.
The company is now implementing the second phase of the Public Servant Housing Scheme (PSHS), the major project which entails construction of a total of 1000 units in different regions, including Dar es salaam, Mwanza, Morogoro as well as Dodoma, the country’s capital.

He was giving an exclusive interview over the WHI achievement in the country’s real estate sector during the past year, as well as plans by 2024.

According to CEO Msemwa, the focus is to offer a diverse range of choices, catering to the different preferences and needs of potential buyers.

“Rental properties offered by WHI are priced between 150,000/- to 300,000/- per month, which payable on a monthly basis,”
